Connecting Square Gutters to Round
Square profiled guttering can easily connect to round gutters with this pre moulded adapter that comes complete with rubber gaskets to ensure a water tight seal.
The adapter will connect 114mm square guttering to the 112mm round profiled gutter - It is compatible with most manufacturered Upvc products.
Tradesman's tip: Although the adapter deosn't have a fixing hole it is wise to pre drill one
and fix the part to any fascia/siding with a 40mm screw. This will prevent any future movement of the connector.
Connecting Cast Iron to Plastic Upvc Guttering
This adapter will allow you to easily connect round plastic gutters to old cast iron or any round profiled gutter as it is fully adjustable.
The adapter is secured to the upvc side by traditional clip with a rubber gasket. The cast iron must be thoroughly cleaned before a mastic sealant is applied and the bolt on the
adapter is simply tightened as required.
A similer product is available to connect squareline guttering to cast iron.
Ogee to Square or Round Gutter
This adapter works on the same principle although it should be noted that most Ogee gutters are slightly different in size and not universal so a test product should be used first.
Aluminium Adapters for Seamless and Pre Moulded Gutters
Connectors for aluminium gutters are available however they are not universal in size or profile. It is therefore best to find the manufacturer of the original product and check
their product range.
Likewise deepflow gutter profiles can have specific parts that are only available from the manufacturer.
